Perfect World Closed Beta FAQs

We all know that the Closed Beta of Perfect World - Philippines is scheduled to start tomorrow, May 18, at 9 a.m. Upon the arrival of CBT, several questions arrises and here are the compiled answers for the FAQ:

Q: What happen to our CBT Accounts we won during blog contest and events?
A: Your accounts (usernames and passwords) are already being emailed to you. Please check the e-mail address that you used when you joined the contest. It will be sent there. Those who have not yet received their accounts, submit a post here.

Q: Can we get CBT accounts from i-cafes with PW if ever we ask for It?
A: The CBT accounts given to cafes are for the cafes. Individual CBT accounts have already been given out.

Q: Kailan po ang registration for Open Beta?
A: The registration for the accounts to be used in Open Beta will be up most probably by June 15. I’d like to emphasize that its just the registration for the open beta accounts that will be up on June 15, 2007.

Q: Kailan po ang Open Beta and Commercial Launch?
A: By early July Level Up! will start Perfect World’s open beta test and finally, a commercial launch of the game by August.

Q: Where can we get or download the installer?
A: You can get your installers in one of two ways:

• Perfect World Download - a download link will be available tomorrow May 18, 2007 via website and via torrent. Please check www.perfectworld.ph for details tomorrow.
• Get it - you can physically get it from our office (limited stocks available): 11th Floor, Pacific Star Building, Makati Avenue cor. Buendia, Makati City. Please bring a valid ID for verification. Sorry but we WILL GIVE CDS ONLY TO CBT WINNERS.

Q: FREE po ba ung mga installer?
A: If you are a CBT contest winner. Yes. Open Beta installer, Yes also.

Q: Does CBT accounts on cafe operate like home CB accounts, or do they come preloaded with some character?
A: Cafe CBT accounts work just like any other account.

Q: How many cafe CB accounts were handed out to each shop?
A: Account distribution per cafe depends on the number of units set aside for PW by the participating cafe.

Q: How do they work? Do users still have to ask the username and password from whoever is in charge. or is it plug and play?
A: Usernames and passwords will be provided to the cafes.

Q: My Internet Cafe is one of the 250 PW CB testers as listed in this site. But up to this moment I haven’t received any confirmation email from the PW Team.
A: Go to www.gmtristan.com and click the CONTACT page then put your complaint there, GM T will forward this to the Sales people.

Q: Hangang kailan po ba ang CBT?
A: Await announcements on how long the CBT will run.

Q: Where can i play PW?
A: List of PW certified cafes can be found here.

Q: Magagamit din ba yung CBT client para sa OBT?
A: Unless otherwise announced later, assume it’s for Closed Beta only.

Q: Does i-cafe CBT accounts have IP locks?
A: No.

Q: Is Perfect World - Philippines for the Philippines only?
A: While we would like to accommodate the players based outside the Philippines Level Up!’s licensing agreement with Wan Mei Beijing precludes non-Philippine IPs from joining Perfect World - Philippines. This restriction extends to all phases from Closed Beta through Official Launch.
