Just got home from Rob Place Manila where the Soft launch of Perfect World Philippines was recently held. The program started around 2:00PM, like most of LU’s game events it was a “success”. Around 500 gamers attended the event and some GM’s and of course Brand Manager Joel Salvador was there.

Perfect World team prepared some games to entertain gamers including “Bring Me”, “character costumization”, and onsite PVP. “Bring me” is the usual “bring me” game and winners receive a free CD installer of PW Open Beta. Same with the participants of character customization contest, winners receive a CD installer.

But on the PVP contest the winners receive Php 2,000 for the champion and 1,500 1,000 and 500 for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd placer respectively. I left the event after i failed to win the PVP event. But most likely the event will be over around 8:00pm.
