Story
After years of being lost, the precious Jade Nightingale has resurfaced. Heralds have begun proclaiming that the battle for the Jade Nightingale has begun. Clans were invited to bid for the ownership of those lands and spread their might and influence. Those who find themselves worthiest among those who succeed in fighting over the Territories shall be the ones worthy enough of the Jade Nightingale’s possession.
Background
In each server of Perfect World , three (3) Clans will become eligible to enter the Warlord’s Circle, based on the tournament’s Territorial War scoring system . These clans will be included in the four teams that will compete in the server semi finals. The fourth slot will be reserved for the Wild Card voting winner.

All characters in Perfect World who belong in any active guild may compete in the Territorial Wars “ Battle for the Jade Nightingale”.
To be able to make it to the Server Eliminations, a guild must first choose on whether to go for the Warlord’s Circle or Wild Card winner. Here we detail Territorial War Eligibility.
Duration/Schedule
Territorial War “The Battle For the Jade Nightingale”
The scoring period for the Territorial Wars will begin on September 3, 2007 and end on October 1, 2007.
August 29 - Start claiming territories by bidding on areas and schedule your clans to control territories and start earning points by September 3, 2007.
October 1 - The top three (3) clans with the highest Territorial War points from each server will be eligible to compete with the server Wild Card winner in the Server Semi Finals.
Territorial War Conditions
Perfect World is going to LU Live! The road to being number one is never to be taken lightly. One mistake is often enough to decide who fails and who is deemed worthy to posses the Jade Nightingale! Clans may come and go but only the steadfast and determined will remain.
How to make it to the Server Semi Finals:
- The base scores of the Territories will be computed after every Territorial War weekend. These will be credited to the Territorial War points of the clan occupying the Territories (points will be computed every Monday after all the battles during the weekend). The scoring period will only begin on September 3, 2007. This means that even if your clan is already controlling a territory before the scoring period, you will only gain points if you maintain control of the territory by September 3, 2007.The scoring system is as follows:At the end of every City Battle week (Monday), clans controlling cities will earn a number of points according to the table below. Each minor territory controlled – 100pts.
Controlling Sword, Feather or Beast City – 500pts.
Controlling Dragon City , Universal City or Dream Port – 1000 pts.Example:- Clan holding Sword and Feather Cities retains ownership.
- At the start of the scoring period one clan maintains the control for both sword and feather city. 500points (sword) + 500 points (feather) total points for the week 1,000pts.
- If the clan managed to capture another minor territory. While maintaining the control of the two cities, 500pts(sword) + 500pts(feather) and another 100pts(for the newly acquired minor territory) = 1,100 points
- In the case of ties that will result in having more than 3 clans qualified for the semifinals, the clans with the highest Clan Level will receive the slot. If ever there will still be more than 3 clans qualified for the semifinals, the clans with the same score will enter a PVP sudden death match in Royal Rumble format.(All members of competing clans will be placed into the PvP arena to fight at the same time. The rules are:
- Each team will be composed of 10 members.
- The team composition must include at least one character of each class.
- The team must not have more than 2 characters of one class.
- The team may choose how to party (one party of 6 + one of 4 or two parties of 5, or three parties of 3, or however they want)
- No resurrection skills, items or abilities are allowed.
- Amulets or Heirograms are allowed.
- This royal rumble will last a maximum of 10 minutes. The last clan remaining will receive the slot for the semifinals. (In the case of multiple slots, the last clan to fall will receive the 2 nd slot, the next clan will receive the 3 rd slot, etc.)
- If there is more than 1 surviving clan at the end of the 10 minute period, the team with the most surviving members wins.
- If ever there is still a tie, the tied clans will enter a sudden death match. (The team of the first character to fall will lose) This match will last a maximum of 5 minutes.
- If ever there is still a tie, the team with the LOWEST total level of member characters will win.
- Characters are not allowed to exit the arena at any time. Characters that leave the arena will be considered to have forfeited and will not be allowed back in for the tournament.
- To monitor clan rankings, Territorial War points will be posted at the Perfect World website.
- The top three (3) clans with the highest points from each server by October 1, 2007 will have the honor of entering the Warlord’s Circle and will compete with the top Wild Card winners from the same worlds in the Server Semi Finals.
- Any player caught for any grave offense for the duration of the tournament will be disqualified.
- Extensions are considered as a separate Clan. So only the Territories under your guild master are counted.
- A guild, once broken, will not be reinstated for the competition. Even if you create another guild with the same name and under the same guild master, it would be considered as a different guild.
- The Territorial War points will be computed every Monday after all the scheduled battles are over. Once scores are published, they become final.
- Technical issues that occur during sieges will not affect the tournament results in any way.
- All decisions by the judges/tournament committee are deemed final and non-negotiable.
