Apparently Gravity added a new step in account registration that we coulnd’t fix yet. All accounts request will resume once we found a way to register accounts again. Thank you!

Remember Ragnarok Online 1? It’s one of the best MMORPG! We all love to play this game due to it’s simple game interface and of course cute avatar (no doubt about it). And now here comes Ragnarok Online 2! Same game but with 3d graphics and retaining the game play and added lots of quest (no need to grind that much). But Ragnarok Online 2 Open Beta is currently on free-to-play testing period which is open to any Korean citizen only. That simply means, you must have Korean Social Security Number to get in. (Using other people KSSNs is illegal).

Open Beta started last May 28 and as early as May 29 other players around the world have manage to play ro2 eventhough they are not Korean.

How did they do that?

After googleing for almost an hour I found serveral websites that post an instruction to play ro2 on Korea. This ranges from Korean, Chinese, and Japanese websites! I’m writing this post to help my fellow players (who can’t wait for the international release which was rumored to be launch early next year and december 2007 in the Philippines) register their own account and play ro2. So much for the drama, here are the things you should know. What you need and what to do:

Two important things you actually need:

1. Ragnarok Online 2 Client - instruction on downloading and installing ro2
2. Ragnarok Online 2 Account - instruction on creating an ro2 account

NOTE: If you are having a hard time creating an account, I can create an account for you. You may request for it.

Steps for requesting an account:

STEP 1

Register to this blog by simply entering your email on the “orange box” of this page OR visit this link and enter your email add (mailing system is powered by Feedburner - guaranteed no spam).

IMPORTANT! Be sure to activate the email sent by Feedburner, those who activated their subscriptions are the only ones who will receive an account. In other words, NO ACTIVATION = NO ACCOUNT

STEP 2

Your request will take up to 24-72 hours depending on the number of request. Once your account has been created, you’ll receive 2 emails:

1. From Gravity (contains your Gravity account ID and ragnarok ID but without password);
2. From me which contains your ro2 account information (username and password). Subject title is “Ragnarok Online 2 Account Details via ampota.com”.

NOTE:

• Request an account only if you can’t make your own account.
• Usually confirmation email arrive in less than 15 minutes, check your spam mailbox if not on Inbox. If you haven’t receive an email from Feedburner after 1 day, subscribe again.
• You don’t need to post a comment if you want a MALE avatar, all accounts will have MALE by default, otherwise post a comment here if you want your character to be FEMALE.
• Due to the INCREASING number of request, if you register today, your account “may” arrive tomorrow or the other day or even after 3 days.
• If you have requested an account and didn’t receive details after 72 hours, post a follow-up comment.

IMPORTANT:

DON’T POST YOUR REQUEST on the comment box specially your email! Just follow the instruction above! Comments that beg for an account (or who didn’t read this notice) will be DELETED.
