The good news doesn’t stop here. While there is an entrance fee is P100 per day, Lineage II players will get a P20 discount off their ticket price if they present an L2 card of any denomination! C’ya all there!
Battle Tournament Otakuzine Mechanics
A. Registration
- The tournament will run for two days, with each server tournament on two separate days. April 5- Saturday is restricted for Blackbird server teams only while April 6- Sunday is restricted for Aria server teams only.
- Registration is on a first come, first serve basis. Only a maximum of sixteen teams per server will be entertained.
- Each team must provide their own unique Team name and designate a team captain.
- Each team will be provided a registration form and must pass their team form before 1:45pm on the day of the tournament. If a team fails to submit before 1:45pm, that team is disqualified.
B. Briefing
- 1) Briefing starts at 12:30pm. All team captains are required to be at the registration booth for the briefing.
- 2) Team Captains who are not present at the tournament area at 1:45pm will be immediately disqualified.
C. Team Set-up
- Each team must assign a team captain.
- Teams can register with a minimum of 2 and a maximum of 5 players each.
- There are no level caps. Sub Classes are allowed to join.
- A member of a team cannot join when he or shield wields the Demonic Swords of Akamanah or Zarich.
- Currently banned characters cannot participate in the tournament or characters that have been currently frozen for a penalty. The GM team will not release characters that were banned previously prior to the tournament or will unfreeze characters which have been penalized.
D. Wild Card BuffsEach team upon registering will be provided a yellow envelope. This envelope will contain the ticket that will provide the team a GM buff depending on their desired type of buff. No custom buffs will be allowed when choosing Wild Card buffs, (i.e. Melee type character requests for both Melee and Caster Buffs or remove a certain buff to be replaced with another type of buff on the list).

- Only the team captain can issue the wild card buffs and could only be used once in the tournament by surrendering the yellow envelope to the tournament marshals.
- When availed, Wild card buffs will be cast during the pre match. It will be announced to both teams when one team has availed its use.
- Once a team has availed its use, they cannot issue or request for another wild card buffs.
- If during the event that a PC malfunctions when a team is being buffed, once the player has re-logged in they will resume buffing on that team or player.
- If the team captain losses the yellow envelope prior to it being consumed, his team cannot avail of the wild card buffs.
- Once a match is over and either team has used the wild card buffs, the Wild buffs will be dispelled. So pick the time to use the Wild Card buff wisely.
Wild card buff conditions:
D. Pre match
- Once both teams have been called they will be each assigned to their own PC stations.
- Teams will be provided 5 minutes to login and form their respective parties immediately.
- If any PC is malfunctioning (keyboard, monitor, mouse etc) or unable to connect or any particular bug when launching or playing lineage 2,the marshals will inform the GMs the estimated time needed to adjust the start of the match.
- Each team will be assigned marshals to observe the match. These marshals will also flag players if they commit penalties or if there are any factors that may hinder the game play of the tournament.
- After the 5-Minute preparation, each team will be summoned to the coliseum for de-buffing. After each team has been de- buffed, both teams will be given additional 5 minutes for the following
- Option To Use the Wild Card Buffs
- Buffing and use of item buffs
- If both team captains agreed that they are ready, the battle will start even if the 5-minute window for buffing is still not finished.
F. Battle Mechanics
- Once the buff duration is done or the team captains agreed that they are ready, both teams will be summoned from the opposite end of the coliseum.
- The Battle Tournament Facilitator will commence the match
- The facilitator will be the one hosting the match. In the event that a match is restarted due to technical or mechanical failure due to the facilitator’s part, the match time will be adjusted.
- Each round will be on a basis of best of 3, meaning one team needs to have more wins in a best of three to be declared the winner.
- There will be a 5 minute interval between matches in order to give time for the team to prepare and strategize for the following matches.
- Teams can also avail Wild Card buffs in between games, before a match starts.
- Each game has a maximum time limit of ten minutes.
- In the event that an equal number of participants are still standing, both teams will undergo sudden death
- Each team will choose 1 member to participate on a 1v1 Duel
- The winner of the Duel will decide the winning team
- In the event that there is a tie in the duel, the duel will restart until one winner is decided
- Wild card buffs cannot be availed in sudden death matches
- The tournament organizers decision is final.
- Cannot use skills that make opponent run away like Fear, Horror, and Sword Symphony etc. (penalty is one match loss)
- Teams are not allowed to use resurrection skills. (penalty is disqualification)
- Self-resurrection like Salvation is not allowed. (penalty is disqualification)
- Teams cannot use merge-related magic or combination magic (Elemental Assault, skills that requires the skill seed of wind, water, fire, etc.) – The BT system itself will not allow it also, so it’s pointless to use these skills.
- In the event that a player reconnects after his disconnection his team will be disqualified.
- Disconnected players can rejoin the match on the next game if there is any.
- Necromancers- GMs will provide a summoned rabbit and the team will kill the rabbit for use.
- Pets- Vanity Pets are not allowed in the arena. If a team summons a pet in between a game that team will receive a round loss.
- Characters that died in between games should not click the “To Village” button. Players that click on the “To Village” button will be flagged by the GM.
- Characters that died during the tournament should not be resurrected by other players, the only time a player is resurrected is when the game is over and only a GM is allowed to resurrect players. Resurrections not sanctioned by the GM will mean automatic disqualification for the team.
Skill Limitations
Disconnection/ Critical Error/ PC Restart
Once the battle has started and one or more team members encounter disconnection or hardware failure the game will continue regardless of the given instances. If a player disconnects, the player will be immediately removed from the match and will not be given the chance to re log in:

G. Item Limitations
- Soul shot/Spirit shot, buff potion that are sold in shops, buff event scrolls, energy stone, spirit ore, crystals are allowed to be used in the tournament
- Healing Potions, resurrection scroll, CP potion, Greater Swift Attack/Greater Casting Speed potion are not allowed be used in the arena. The BT system will not allow their usage too, so using them is out of the question
- Demonic Swords (Akamanah/Zarich) are not allowed to be used in the tournament.

Otakuzine Clan Rally Contest
- Open to all existing L2 SEA clans.
- Participating clans must create their clan flag and bring it on the event with the following dimensions and format:
22 inches (Length) by 17 inches (Width) 22×17 vertical format. Clans may put their logos on paper or cloth within those dimensions. (Take note that clans who do not come with a flag prepared will NOT be eligible for the Clan Rally contest.) - Clans will submit their flags to the registration booth to be displayed on a center-piece in the event area. Clan flags will be deemed property of Asian Media Development Group.
- Each participating clan must also prepare a clan cheer, which they will shout out to the crowd when called to the stage.
- The clan cheer must be submitted during registration, printed out on a letter-size (short) bond paper.
- Restrictions:
Clan cheer cannot contain, use of copyrighted slogans, excessive violence, sexual innuendos, foul language, racists, political, religious, and sexists themes.
Clan Flag cannot contain, use of copyrighted trademarks and logos, excessive violence, pornography, foul language, racists, political, religious, and sexists themes. - A clan may only register its members ONCE. So make sure your clan is already complete when you register for the Clan Rally.
- Clan Members may only register under the clan they are a member of.
- Head count will be done once again during the cheer performance to validate registration.
- Each clan member must fill in the following data during registration: Name, Server, Username/Account ID, Clan name, Character name, Address, Mobile #, and Email Address (For L2 account)
- Registration closes at 4 pm. Late registrants will NOT be accommodated.
- Clans are requested to be at the event grounds from 4 pm onwards.
- Clan members will be verified and tallied after registration is closed
- Criteria: Clans will be judged on the following:
- 40% Clan Attendance
- 20% Clan Flag
- 20% Audience Impact of Clan Cheer
- 20% Originality of Clan Cheer
- The judges’ decision is final.
Prize:
High Grade Life Stone level 67 for every member of the winning clan. 10 Gift Packs and Php5, 000.00 cash
